Finding cost-effective insurance that will cover pre-existing conditions is frustrating, especially for employees. One can have several options in order to solve the problem.
a) Ask the employer to add you to the group plan. You will be paying the plan completely out of your paycheck, with no help from the employer. However, if he is on GROUP health, there are generally less hang-ups with the insurance company and the rates can be cheaper.
b) The other option is – do not disclose everything!! Basically, you need to make wise decisions on how you will use your insurance from now on and decisions about disclosure before you talking to an insurance company. When an insurance company asks you about pre-existing conditions, they are not asking about your past, but trying to figure out what expenses they will be paying for in the future.
